Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held weekly Primestock Sale in Dumfries on Wednesday 3rd June 2015.
A smaller show of Prime Cattle were short of buyers requirements and best types easily sold at high rates to a top of 224ppk for a Limousin Heifer from Messrs J Retson, Gardrum sold to R Johnstone & Sons Butchers Annan, 218p from Waterside, Cargen Bridge to B Taylor Butchers Lockerbie, 219p from Gardum, Eastriggs to B Taylor Butchers Lockerbie
The 64 Cast Cows and Bulls were a tremendous show of quality with not so many dairy types forward due to BVD Regulations. Sale topped at 178p for a Limousin from Messrs Wilson, Newmains. Black & White to 141p from Longrigg
