C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of primestock on Wednesday in Dumfries on Wednesday 25th September 2019.

Prime Cattle : Met a brisk trade. Lim heifers to 225p/kg Pendicle to W. Lindsay Butcher, Creetown. Others to 224p/kg Yett to R. Johnstone and Sons Butchers, Annan.

40 OTM Cattle: Comprised of mainly dairy cows which were forward in numbers far short of the increased buyers needs to average 94.1p/kg. All producers should consider taking advantage of the increased competition.
