SALE OF OTM & PRIME CATTLE

Due to the realignment in the Scottish Beef Industry, we intend to switch our OTM and Prime Cattle sales to alternate Mondays along with our store cattle. We feel this will be advantageous to sellers as we anticipate an increase in ringside buyers.

C&D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of Primestock on Wednesday 9th August 2023.

Prime cattle met more competition selling to 315p/kg for Limousin x Heifer from J. Jardine, Yett to R.Johnstone & Sons, Butchers, Annan. Others to 310p/kg and 308p/kg Fauldingcleugh.

OTM's scarcer due to the uplift in weather. Trade sharper on the week.
