C&D Auction Marts held their fortnightly Sale of OTM and Prime Cattle on Monday 13th November 2023.
130 cattle forward – OTM’s sold easily, more plainer sorts forward.
Beef cows sold to 198p/kg for a Galloway from J & J Macpherson, Balliemeanoch and £1786 for an Angus x from Landale & Co Dalswinton.
Dairy cows sold to 210p/kg for a Montbelliarde from R & L Austin, Upper Portrack and to £1444 for a Holstein from E Murray & Son Conheath.
Prime Cattle met keen demand selling to 330p/kg for a Limousin x Heifer purchased by R Johnstone & Sons, Butchers, Annan from J Jardin, Yett.
