Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auction Marts held their sale of OTM cattle in Dumfries on Monday 22nd January 2024.

OTM’s again met a competitive demand with all buyers actively seeking cattle of all classes, more could be sold at each sale.

Beef Cows sold to 280p/kg and £1932 from J B Paterson, Hartbush to ave 180p/kg
Dairy Cows sold to 188p/kg and £1702 from D. Kincaid, Slacks to ave 150.4p/kg

Prime cattle topped at 330p/kg purchased by R. Johnstone & Sons, Butchers, Annan for a Limousin x heifer consigned by J. Jardine, Yett
