Dumfries OTM and Prime Cattle Report

C&D Auction Marts held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 10th June 2024.

Prime Cattle sold to 332p/kg (£1909) for Limousin Heifers from J Jardine, Yett purchased by R Johnstone & Sons Butchers Annan. Angus Heifers to £1892 Conheath.

OTM’s again sold at competitive rates with buyers actively seeking greater numbers of all types.
Beef cows sold to 238p/kg from M & H Currie, Skewbridge and £1827 from D&M Grierson, Shambellie Grange.

Dairy cows sold to 198p/kg from RJ&P McDougall, Heathfield and £1803.20 from E Murray & Son, Conheath.
