C&D Auction Marts held their fortnightly sale of OTM and Prime Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 8th July 2024.

More ringside buyers in attendance made all classes of fast trade with all classes wanted. More could easily be sold at every sale.

Dairy Cows sold to £1813.90 from Murray, Conheath and 216p/kg Lochhead, Beyond the Burn. To average 171.6p/kg.

Beef Cows sold to £1771 from Hamlet, Cowans and 232p/kg. To average 202.1p/kg
Prime Cattle to 332p/kg from Jardine, Yett to Annan Butchers R Johnstone & Sons.
