The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc held their Annual Sale of Blackface Ewes, Gimmers and Store Lambs on Saturday 27th September 2014 in Dumfries.
Trade for all classes was bouyant with the sale being topped at £148 (x2) for Blackface Gimmers from Clonrae, Tynron.

Small but select show of Breeding Tups forward with quality shining through with some exceeding Sellers expectations. Top price on the day was £700 for a tremendous Texel Shearling from Messrs Harrison, Luce Mains with the top price in the Lamb section going to Messes Alexander, Millside for a Blue Texel which was knocked down at £300.
