Dumfries Store Sheep Report

C & D Auctions had forward 1167 store lambs at Dumfries on Friday 6th September 2019.

A larger show of lambs with many quality pens of Blackfaces forward attracted a good ringside of buyers who insured another good trade. Many more could have been sold to advanatge.

Top price was £65 for Texels from Bettyknowes and Burnhead.
Suffolks to £56.50 Ewanston, £56 Gall Farm.
Blackface to £54.50 Glenwhargen, £50 Lettrick.
Lleyns to £58.50 Bettyknowes
Hill Cheviots to £49 Meikle Whitriggs, £45 Polquhanity and £44 Craiglearen.
Hampshire to £48 Polquhanity.
