Dumfries Store and Breeding Sheep Report

A strong entry of Blackface lambs, together with other breeds were forward at Dumfries on Friday 4th November 2022.

A great pen of 106 Blackface lambs from South Shortcleugh, Elvanfoot made £69 to S R Eardley with other Blackfaces to £57, South Shortcleugh and £57 Auchenhessnane

Texel crosses sold to £78 Bushcroft, with cheviots from the same consignor to £69. More lambs and feeding ewes could have been sold to vendors advantage.

Next sale – Friday 11th November with entries of cheviots, cheviot mules & Blackfacees already in hand. Early entries requested.
