Moffat Working Collie Dog Sale

C & D Auctions in conjunction with Moffat Sheepdog Society held their Backend Sale of 25 Working Collies at Moffat on Saturday 27^th October 2018.

A cold, windy day did not deter customers from throughout the country attending.

Alan Wilkie travelled down from Glen Moy, Kirrriemuir and sold 'Flo' a 3 ½ Yo Tri Colour Bitch for 3000gns to J Roberts, North Wales, Flo was sired by Moss (D K Evans) out of Fern (D J Lawrence).

A late entry from the same home sold at 2200gns for 'Kate' a January 17 born Bitch also heading to North Wales.

Best of the Irish Consignors at 1950gns was paid to Patrick McKeever, Co Antrim for Jock a 17 mo Dog to M/s Wilson, Newbank, Beattock.
