Moffat Sheep Dog Sale

C & D Auctions held their Spring Sale of 34 Working Collies in conjunction with Moffat Sheepdog Society at Moffat on Saturday 9th March 2019.

The best price of 5900gns was attained by 'Celt' a 2 ½ year old Dog from George Simpson, Huntly. Sired by D W Davies 'Prince' and Dam H Hughes 'Nan'. 'Celt'  a winner of 2 trials found a new home in Lancashire with repeat buyers M/s Crowther, Upperwood.

Anthony McKeegan, Ballymena then sold 'Kipp' at 3500gns bred from B McAllister 'Spot' with Dam being 'Meg' A J McKeegan which headed to Co Antrim with Shannon Conn. 

A Late entry from Seamus Gormley, Kilcreen Sheep Dog Centre sold 'Kilcreen Don' a 3yo Dog at 3000gns to M/s Hickson, Jedburgh.

Stuart Grant, Ullapool paid 2700gns for Molly a May '17 Bitch from A P Mckeever, Martinstown.
