C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their Annual Spring Sale of Breeding Cattle in Dumfries when they had forward 505 Head.
A huge attendance of customers packed the ring, with cattle being sold to as far north as Caithness and Aberdeen.

Leading the days trade at £3250 was a Limousin (2nd Calver) Cow with a Limousin heifer calf from J A Fingland, Garmartin.
David Cornthwaite, Balgray Hill sold Limousin Heifers (with Bull Calf) at £2500 and £2400 (Heifer Calf)
