Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report
C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 680 Store Cattle on Monday 2nd October 2017 in Dumfries which included 107 Organic Cattle.
The Organic cattle met plenty of demand with finishers in a confident buying mood especially for suckler bred stores.

C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their October Sale of Breeding Cattle which Included the Dispersal Sale of Shorthorn and Red Angus Cattle from Ryehill, Sanquhar.
The stock cows with calves at foot were well bid from the large ringside of buyers selling to £1850, £1600 (x2), £1520, £1450 (x2)
The 2 year old heifers scanned in calf for spring calving were easily sold selling to £1280, £1250 (x2), £1200, £1180, £1100 (x4)

Outwith the dispersal the breeding cattle were sought after.
