C & D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 8th July 2019.

116 forward: Trade better than anticipated as the decline in finished prices begins to bite. Predominately short keep dairy crosses forward.

Bullocks to 211.1p/kg High Auchneel and £1055
Heifers to 233 p/kg New Mains and £1035
Bulls to 223.1p/kg New Mains and £870

Bullocks – Per head – Lim - £1055 High Auchneel, £960 Fardingjames. Hfd - £1045 East Gallaberry. AA - £915 North Bowerhouses.

Heifers – Per Head – Sim - £1035 High Auchneel. Lim- £990 High Auchneel. BB - £950 High Auchneel, £915 Inglestoneford. AA  - £905 Gimmenbie.

Bulls – Per Head – Lim - £870 New Mains

A small show of breeding cattle sold to £1750 for a Sim x Heifer with Char bull calf from Hannah. Angus x Heifers with Lim calves to £1350 Mid Bishopton.
