Dumfries Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 28th October 2024.

450 forward. Another large attendance of buyers were in attendance and all classes were easily sold. Bullocks sold to £1610 for Limousin cross form JR Jackson & Son, Newbarn and to 320p/kg for Charolais cross from I Wilson, Beechgrove.

Small show of breeding cattle were in big demand selling to £2100 (x2) for incalf Limousin cross Friesian heifers (due March/April from R Ritchie & Co, Fardingjames. Beef Shorthorn stock cows from Meikle Whitriggs farm sold to £1750
