C&D Auctions held their fortnightly sale of Store Cattle in Dumfries on Monday 11th November 2024.

390 forward. Plenty of ringside buyers actively seeking cattle. All classes easily sold.

JR Jackson & Son, Newbarn sold Limousin bullocks at £1620 with M Stewart Ltd, Smallholmburn selling British Blue cross bullocks to 331p/kg. Angus heifers from M Dodd & Sons, Boreland of Southwick made £1520 with Hereford heifers from J Rennie, Tarbert making 321.1p/kg. Bulls from JM & J Goldie, Newbiemains made £1420 or 315.6p/kg
