Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report
The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers’ Mart plc had forward 62 store cattle and 38 breeding cattle at their fortnightly sale on Tuesday 26th May 2015 at Longtown Mart.
Store cattle sold to a full ringside of buyers and were keenly bid for ensuring trade remained buoyant. Prices peaked at £1,140 for an Angus bullock shown by W.J. Lockhart & Sons, Greenbeck, others sold to £990 from P.A.D. Boyle & Sons, Mallsgate Hall.
