Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report
C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 123 store cattle and suckler calves on Tuesday 31st January 2017.
Trade did not disappoint upholding recent weeks high prices. Many more could have been sold to a busy ringside of buyers. The sale topped at £1,100 for a pair of Beef Shorthorn bullocks sold by T S Brass, Espland. Limousin’s peaked the female section at £1,075 and £1,070 both from J Common & Son, Crossdykes Farm.
