Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts, Longtown had forward 68 store cattle at their fortnightly sale on Tuesday 24th April 2018. Mainly younger grazing cattle on offer which met a buoyant trade. The sale topped at £1,180 for a Limousin heifer shown by G W Dinnin, Nether Albie, with their run of heifers averaging £1,061. Bullocks topped at £975 for a dairy bred British Blue from AI & V Smith, Westwinds and Limousin bulls peaked at £920 twice from A & A Ewing, Dumbretton.
