Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of 116 store cattle Tuesday 25th September 2018.

Trade for strong well fleshed cattle met a marvelous trade whilst weathered sorts were harder to sell.

Sale topped at £1,300 and £1,230 for wonderful Limousin bullocks from F Gibson, Southwoodhead, Canonbie with other bullocks to £1,100 for a British Blue from Devonport Farms, Hexham and for a Charolais from G & A Lockhart, Underwoodhouse, Kirkpatrick Fleming.

Limousin heifers to £1,200 again from Southwoodhead.
