Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their Special August sale of store cattle on Tuesday 13^th August 2019 with a catalogued entry of 289.  

A fantastic entry of store cattle was a credit to vendors who were rewarded with a trade far better than anticipated due to a full ringside of active buyers in attendance, therefore all sellers leaving happy with their day’s trading.  

The sale topped at £1,380 and £1,360 for British Blue heifers shown by Snowhill Partners, Ericstane, Moffat with bullocks selling to £1,220 for a Limousin from A & A Hogg, Milnholm, Langholm and Limousin bulls selling at £970 from A & A Ewing, Dumbretton, Annan.

Next sale on Tuesday 10^th September, catalogue sale for store cattle and monthly sale of beef breeding cattle. Please advise any entries.
