Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Limited held their fortnightly sale of store cattle on Tuesday 26th May 2020.

A nice entry of store cattle; comprising of mainly native bred yearling sorts, which sold to a competitive ringside of buyers ensuring a brisk trade throughout.

The sale topped at £875 for a pen of Simmental bulls shown by Waterhead of Dryfe, Lockerbie, who also sold Beef Shorthorns at £815. 

Bullocks sold to £770 for Angus’ from TG Warwick & Son, Girnwood, Hawick with Angus heifers to £795 from WK McGowan, Craiglea, Berwick.
