Longtown Store Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their fortnightly sale of store cattle at Longtown on Tuesday 21st June 2022.

 A good ringside of bidders ensured a continuation of high rates at this centre.

A marvellous run of 50 cattle from Dalmahoy Farms, Kirknewton, Midlothian topped the sale at £1,160 for Simmental and Limousin x bullocks with others to £1,115 and £1,105. Heifers from the same good home sold to £1,140 and £1,100.

The next Longtown sale will be Tuesday 19th July – Special July Sale of Store & Breeding Cattle.
