Longtown Store & Breeding Cattle Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held a special Sale of Store Cattle on Tuesday 27th June 2023.

A tremendous show of grazing store cattle forward sold to a busy ringside of purchasers ensuring all classes were competitively bid for. The sale topped at £1,520 for an impressive 13 month old Limousin bull shown by John Graham and Sons, Orchard Farm, Hawick. Store Heifers topped at £1,090 for a Limousin x from RW Arthur, Hudspeth Farm, Elsdon. Top of the shop in the Bullock section was a 14 month old Limousin x realising £1,080 from Wanwood Partners, Wanwood Hill, Alston.
