Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward 2,620 store hoggs, cast rams and ewes at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday 14th January 2014.

Another fine show with a busy ring of local and distant buyers all keen for sheep. The store hoggs maybe lacked the strength of last week but were certainly no cheaper and more could have been sold to advantage.
