Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart PLC had forward 1,079 head of ewes, shearlings and hoggs with lambs at foot at Longtown on Tuesday 27th May 2014.

Another excellent show with many pens of hoggs with lambs from the Eden Valley, trade was the best of the season with many local and distant buyers to the fore.

Top price of £101 for Greyface hoggs with singles from Messrs Ridsdale, Yewtree Farm.
