Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc at 3,083 store lambs forward at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 12th August, 2014.

A large company of buyers including several from a distance and with another quality show on offer trade was buoyant with all classes easily maintaining late high rates.

Top £77, £74 for Suffolk x Cheviot Mule ewe lambs from Tarrasfoot.
