Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report
The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart plc had forward 3,870 store lambs and feeding ewes at their weekly sale at Longtown on Tuesday 9th December, 2014.
Another good entry met the dearest trade of the season with numbers far short of requirements. A great consignment from Messrs Wilson, New Farm, Moffat, averaged £78.49.
