Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Limited had another good show of 414 Ewes with Lambs at foot and 300 Store Hoggs and Feeding Ewes forward at Longtown on Tuesday 19th April 2016.

Ewes and Lambs met a better trade than of late and would be £3/£4 dearer on the week with more customers enquiring, especially for stronger outfits. The sale topped at £70 for Texel Ewes with Single Texel Lambs at foot from McCornick, Barnbackle.

Store Hoggs to £65 for Texel from Reagill Grange and Feeding Ewes to £80 for Suffolk from Cooilingel.
