Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Limited had forward 3,278 store lambs at their sale at Longtown on Wednesday 24th August 2016.

All classes of lambs easily sold at last week’s high rates, where a quality show attracted a full ring of both local and distant buyers.

Top of £77 for a Beltex from Craighousesteads. Texels to £71 Harwood House and £69 Muirfield.

Suffolks to £72 Satchells and £70 Vallance Drive.

Bleu du Maine to £66 The Hagg.

Cheviot Mule to £60 Sorbietrees.

Lleyns to £62.50 Bridge End.

Greyface to £67.50 Eden Grove, £60.50 Sundhope and £60 Stonehall.
