Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Limited had forward 4,451 store lambs and feeding ewes at their sale at Longtown on Tuesday 29^th November 2016.

A much larger entry, usual buyers and trade dearer by £2-£3 per head on the week. Good quality lambs scarce and short of requirements. Top today was £75 for Texel lambs from Messrs Dixon, The Height, Caldbeck. Others to £74 Burnside and £72 Routin Lynn.

Cheviot Mule to £59 Kirkbride. Lleyns to £59 Low Crubasdale. Cheviots to £60 Rowhope and £59 Gospel Hall. Blackface to £58 Westhills, £54 Greyside and £52 Cranberry Brow.
