The C&D Auction Marts Ltd had 6,241 store lambs, feeding ewes and breeding sheep forward at Longtown on Tuesday 7th November 2017.

Another good entry with trade dearer still and all classes very much in demand and short of requirements.

Breeding ewes (372) met a great enquiry and many more could have been sold. Top of £120 for a Texel ram from The Hagg. Ewes sold to £94 and £90 for Greyfaces from Aldery Terrace. Cheviots to £55 from Lochuisge and Blackfaces to £40 from Rowhope. Ewe lambs to £69 from Prospect House, Comb Hill.
