Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 227 ewes and lambs at Longtown on Tuesday 3rd July 2018 for their final sale of the season.  A grand entry for the time of year again sold well, exceeding vendors expectations to a to of £78 per life for a ring full of Texel cross ewes with single lambs. 

Opening sales of store sheep will be on Tuesday 17th July and Tuesday 31st July.

Texel ewes with lambs to £78, £72, £71, £70 (x2), £62 Low Tipalt.

Mule ewes with lambs to £50 (x2), £48 (x2) Cannerheugh.

Suffolk ewes with lambs to £62 Low Tipalt, £54, £51 Brewery House Barn.
