Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward an entry of 4,765 store lambs and feeding ewes at Longtown on Tuesday 11th December 2018. Another good show of store lambs, which were of excellent quality and attracted the usual large company of buyers, trade was again animated with last weeks high rates easily maintained. Top price was £80 for Texels and North Country Cheviots from Cochranes Nurseries, Dickstree and Snowhill Partners Ltd, Ericstane, Moffat.
