Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their opening sale of 2,098 store lambs at Longtown on Tuesday 19th July 2022.

A good show of store lambs attracted a full ring of buyers, including several from a distance. Strong lambs if anything would be scarce on the day, trade was much better than anticipated. An overall average of £85.15, which was £3.15 up on the year. Many more could have been sold to vendors advantage considering the many buyers that were present.
