Longtown Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their annual lowland sale of ewes & shearlings on Wednesday 31st August 2022, an increased entry on the year. With many quality runs of stock forward to a large ringside of local buyers, a lack of distance buyers noticeable.

The sale was led at £230 for a pen of pure Texel gimmers from regular supporter Carolyn Hastings, Kopje, followed closely with four Beltex x gimmers from A & WJ Taylor, Dashwell Green at £220.
