Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd held their weekly sale of 7,174 store lambs and feeding ewes at Longtown on Tuesday 6th December 2022. A larger show attracted more customers, last weeks high returns were easily maintained.

Top £120 for Texels from Desoglin, others to £115 Pasture Wood, £112 Solwaybank; Beltexs to £115 Newham Hagg, £111 Sharplaw, £110 Shankfieldhead; Suffolks to £110 Kirkton Hill, £101 Edgerston, £98 Tarrasfoot; Charollais to £91 Moss Side; Cheviot Mules to £85 Solwaybank; Greyfaces to £100 Millbeck Hall; Leicesters to £94 Tecket; North Cheviots to £91 Newham Hagg; Lleyns to £84 The Height; Hill Cheviots to £85 Skelfhill, £81 Bloch; Blackfaces to £79 The Hott, £76 Lanehead, £71 Somerton House & The Glen.
