Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 4,149 Store lambs and Feeding ewes at Longtown on Tuesday 13th December 2022.

Quality not as good, more distant buyers present from Hereford and Worcester, trade very similar to last weeks high rates.

Top for Beltex from Westerhouse and £101 Wauchope as well as £100 The Crook, Ellerslea and Wauchope.

Texels to £102 Westerhouses and £100 Broomhills, Capenoch and The Crook.
Suffolks to £96 and £90 Skelfhill.

Hill ewes to £65 for Blackfaces from Raeshaws Farm. Cheviots to £59 Pewter Close and Shetlands £40 from Elmbank.
