Longtown Store Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 4,504 store hoggs, cast rams and feeding ewes at their special sale at Longtown on Tuesday 31st January 2023.

There were more distant buyers present for a poorer quality show of hoggs. Trade for best hoggs just as dear, longer keep sorts cheaper.

Cast rams to £138 for Texels from Ballagan, £119 Kelsocleugh, who sold Cheviots to £107.
