Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts Ltd had forward 3,493 store hoggs, cast rams and feeding ewes at Longtown on Tuesday 14th February 2023.

A great show sold to a spirited ring side of bidders, with a slight upturn in prime hogg prices driving massive demand in the store ring. All classes being up £5-£10 on the week. Very best Beltex regularly sold between £100 and £122, to a top of £122 twice from High Mossthorn.
