Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C&D Auction Marts held their final sale of ewes and hoggs with lambs at foot at Longtown on Tuesday 20th June 2023.

Again stronger ewes and lamb outfits sold to improved rates topping at £97/life for a Charloais cross ewe with a single lamb, consigned by M/S Baxter. Moss Side, Hethersgill who also sold a pen of 4 crop ewes with twin lambs to £96/life

A small select show of hoggs & lambs topped at £103/life for a penful of English Mule hoggs with Continental single lambs consigned by M/S Brough, Seat Hill, Laversdale.
