Included in the sale was three noted dispersal sales. First on the catalogue was the stock sheep from Emblehope Farm, Northumberland, being represented by farm manager and head shepherd John Waugh. The noted blackie ewes sold to a huge ringside of prospective purchasers who were all keen to take these very well-bred sheep home with them. Stealing the show was a pen of three crop ewes that caught the eye of numerous purchasers going on to realise £122.
