Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of ewes with lambs at foot, at Longtown on Tuesday 18th June 2024.

A strong show once again of ewes and lambs topping at £168 a life for a fantastic 3 shear Texel x ewe with a single Beltex x Lamb at foot from J Browell & Sons, Quarry House.

Shearlings with lambs topped at £150 a life from Stoddart, Hillside for a pair of Beltex x Gimmers with singles at foot.

Hoggs and lambs still finding new homes with ease, top of £155 for a pen of Beltex Hoggs from previously mentioned Stoddart, Hillside.

Another tremendous run of Texel Hoggs and Lambs from R J Muir, Low Stanley seen a top to £145 a life.
