Longtown Store & Breeding Sheep Sale Report

C & D Auction Marts held their weekly sale of ewes with lambs at foot, at Longtown on Tuesday 25th June 2024.

As ewe and lamb season draws to a close and the opening store lamb sale just over the horizon. Topping today was a fantastic pen of Beltex 3 crop ewes with Beltex lambs at foot realising £158 per life from P Robson, Taylorburn. Mule shearlings with twin Texel lambs at foot reach £148 a life from P Robson, Taylorburn.

Feeding ewes topped at £109 for a pair of Mule ewes from M Moscrop, Collin Bank.

Opening store lamb sale 16th July.
