and quality sorts up to 44Kg showing a good rise on the week whilst
heavier lambs especially if on the thick side met a more hesitant demand.
The Top price of 168p or £67 was paid for a pen of Beltex Crosses
from Messrs Ryder Farming, Newton. Top price per head was £86
for Texels from Messrs AT Waugh & Co, Mitchellslacks. Overall average
