Trade good, selling to a top of 184.5p for Limousin heifer from D & R Cornthwaite, Balgray Hill, others 175.5p Gardrum; Charolais 183.5p Ashtree; Simmental 172.5p Dinnans.
Top gross heifer £1094.63 Marwhirn.
Bullocks to 166.5p for British Blues from I Nelson, Outertown; Limousin 165.5p Shawhill.
Top gross bullock £1185.83 Marwhirn.

9 Young bulls were a similar trade. Top was 142.5p for a Charolais from T & M Irving, Becton Hall; Simmental 141.5p Nether Dargavel

OTM cows were a larger show and trade remains excellent for all classes.
Top was a Charolais bull at £1281.25 (170p) from W S Tweedie & Son, Woodside.
Otm steers £997.20 (138.5p) E Murray & Son, Conheath.
Top price cull cow a Charolais £1010.28 (125.5p) Drumtrodden. Others Limousin 124.5p Dinnans; Simmental 122.5p Dinnans; Hereford 122.5p Duncow.
Cows overall averaged 98.39p.

473 Prime lambs were easier on the week selling to a top of 186p for Suffolk crosses scaling 44kg and realising £82 to R Johnstone & Son, Butchers, Annan from Hartbush. The overall average was 168.6p a fall of 8p on the week. Top price per head £85.50 for Suffolk x from Cleughbrae, £82 Hartbush; Texels £79.50 Westhills, £79 North Cowshaw; Charollais £76.50 Dempsterton.

204 Cast ewes and rams saw trade marginally easier on the week.
