1134 Prime Lambs – The quality end of the prime lambs were sharper on the week. Well bred, well fleshed sorts were easy to sell even if they come into the heavy category. Top price per Kg was 200p or £78 for 39Kg Beltex x Lambs from D Hyslop, Clydeside, Abington. Top price per head was £78.50 for Suffolk crosses from Messrs J Strawhorn & Son, Annefield. Overall average was 161.2p
