The firm had forward 1536 prime lambs at
their weekly sale. Once again overall quality was good and
this was reflected in the trade with well bred, well fleshed lambs easily
sold. The day's average of 164.41 p/k was 4p dearer on the week. Top
price per head was £87.5 for texel crosses from Miss M Gibson,
Birkshaw, Dunscore. Highest price per kilo was 199p/k also for texels
from Breconside Farming Partners, Breconside Tower, Moffat. Other prices:-
