The Cumberland & Dumfriesshire Farmers Mart held their weekly sale
of primestock in Dumfries on Wednesday 26th June 2013.
A Small Show of Prime Cattle on offer met a fast Trade throughout and
the Sale was topped at 252.5p for a British Blue Bullock shown by Mr R
McKelvey, Burnside purchased by Mr C Anderson. Limousin Bullocks sold to
249.5p from Messrs R Neill, Upper Tinwald purchased by Ballard Butchers
Castle Douglas. Limousin Heifers topped at 249.5p also from Messrs R Neill,
Upper Tinwald bought by R Johnstone Butchers Annan.
